Sheet pan pancakes are the easiest way to make pancakes you'll wonder why you never thought to make them this way! These are light and fluffy traditional pancakes that can be easily personalized.Unless you have a griddle, most pans only fit a couple perfectly sized pancakes at a time and it can take a while to make all the pancakes. I love this sheet pan pancake idea because all you have to do is throw them in the oven and perfectly cooked pancakes come out! You can make your eggs and bacon while the pancakes are baking without having a million things cooking on the stove at once.I also love these because they are customizable and I'm all about making things for family or a crowd that lets people have options. Here, you can fill different parts of the sheet pan pancake with chocolate chips, strawberries, blueberries or whatever you want to bake in the pancake. I think it's a fun thing to make for breakfast with family.

The recipe

I got this recipe off of Life, Love and Sugar. I just took her traditional pancake recipe and poured the batter into a sheet pan. It came out perfect and it was very easy to make! All you need is

  • all purpose flour

  • baking powder

  • salt

  • butter

  • an egg

  • milk

  • a little sugar

  • vanilla

Again, these sheet pan pancakes couldn't be easier. You will just mix everything up and bake! The best part is the toppings are endless and everyone can have a different flavor:

  • chocolate chips

  • fresh berries

  • peanut butter

  • bananas

  • nuts

Traditional fluffy pancakes baked on a sheet pan.

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  1. Preheat an oven to 400 degrees and spray a cookie sheet with edges with non stick spray.

  2. Whisk together the butter, egg, sugar, milk and vanilla until well combined. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix until combined. Pour the batter onto the cookie sheet and evenly spread all the way to the edges and corners. Add toppings if you would like.

  3. Bake for 12-14 minutes until there are small holes in the pancake and the edges are golden brown. Slice and serve with maple syrup, butter and more toppings.
